We love to hold events at Pomegranate, and a few of them are legendary (not hyperbole, friends). On the first Saturday of December, you don’t want to miss our annual Holiday Soirée (and day of giving back) from 10-7. All day, we serve treats and libations, give away door prizes, and offer specials for the day. The shop is all dressed up and magical for the holidays: you’ll find everything you desire, from special ornaments and décor, to perfect gifts, great ideas and pieces for entertaining, and every hostess gift imaginable. Then, at 4pm, it really gets serious with cocktails and goodies from our infamous ice bar outside. Robert will make a Pometini for you (or pour some bubbles, if you prefer) while you enjoy a little nosh and stand by the fire… or wander around and shop. Best of all, we always donate 10% of the entire day’s sales to a local non-profit ( a different one each year), so it’s always a great day (our busiest of the year). Many of our dear customers have told us that this party really kicks off the season for them; we pull out all the stops to make it grand!
Our 2017 Soirée is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, from 10-7 (cocktails served from 4-7).
In summer, we host five Vintage Flea Markets in our gardens, on the first Saturday of each month from June through October. Our grounds are filled with our wonderful vendors (hand-picked), who come from all over the state (and beyond) to set up on our grounds – it’s all good vintage finds and upcycled wares, from shabby chic to antique… rustic, primitive, mid-century, industrial and finer antiques (you never know what you’re going to find). And there’s always sweet treats to enjoy. Bring a big shopping bag or basket (and maybe your truck), put on your shopping shoes, and stuff some cash and a credit card in your pocket. There’s plenty of parking in the back lot at Macy’s.
2017 Vintage Flea Markets are scheduled for June 3, July 1, August 5, September 2, and October 7, from 10-4 – in the gardens at Pomegranate.
Interested in being a vendor? We have dealers who sign up for every show, and folks who just want to shed some of those goodies from grandma’s attic in a one-time shot. You don’t need experience, but we do ask that you bring good vintage items at good prices. For info and an application, click this: flea letter 2017.
Keep an eye open for other events we may announce from time to time, from fun, outdoor seminars, to trunk shows. Our historic site is a great place to host your own class or event: we’ve had painting classes join us, and even a wedding or two! Give us a call at 541.383.3713 for info.
